Hafeed Jraybee

Before he came to us

Hafeed’s journey in audio took him from Libya to the UK, where he pursued a master’s at Leeds Beckett University. With experience in film and TV sound, he was already on his way—but something was missing. Performance nerves held him back, and his approach to Foley felt rigid.

Attending Pete Burgis’ Creative Foley Workshop was a turning point. “This one week felt like years of self-learning,” he said. Pete didn’t just teach technique—he transformed how Hafeed thought about Foley, helping him let go, embody the characters, and build a mental sound library. Learning to perform rather than just replicate sound was a game-changer. One unforgettable moment? Creating dragon fire with nothing but a bin bag. “I remember looking at Alan like, ‘What is going on?!’ I was in total shock.”

What He Had To Say

“100% recommend. Whether you're new to Foley or a veteran, you’ll gain something from Pete. This course condenses years of learning into a single week. If you’re attending, come prepared with questions—everything has an answer, you just have to ask.” Reflecting on his journey, Hafeed shared, “I’m forever grateful to Pete and the 344 team. This experience changed how I see myself and my future in Foley.”
